Getting started
Open Iris once with your iPhone unlocked. The welcome guide helps you link the glasses, add your OpenAI API key and allow the microphone. Then set the Action button: Settings → Action Button → Controls → Iris → Start Iris.
Iris doesn't hear me
Make sure the glasses are on your head, paired over Bluetooth and not in a phone call. If your voice gets cut off, set Microphone sensitivity to Sensitive; if people around you trigger answers, choose Noise resistant.
The Action button does nothing
Allow Live Activities for Iris in iPhone Settings and make sure the microphone permission is on. After restarting the iPhone, unlock it once so Iris can read your API key from the Keychain.
OpenAI errors
"Out of credit" means your OpenAI account needs a top-up. "Rejected key" means the key was revoked or mistyped; create a new one and paste it in Settings. If a model isn't available on your account, choose gpt-realtime.
The camera doesn't work
Link the glasses in the Camera tab and confirm access in the Meta AI app. Voice works even without the camera.
